Ghibli Park and Ghibli Exhibition will be held at 5 venues until September 2023
The “Ghibli Park and Ghibli Exhibition” is a traveling exhibition that has been held at five venues in museums and art galleries in Japan since July 2022.
As of late February 2023, two venues (Nagano and Aichi Prefectures) have completed the exhibition, and each of the venues currently holding the exhibition has a relatively long duration of over two months.

Ghibli Park and Ghibli Exhibition Hyogo (KOBE) Venue: 4/15 – 6/25
The Hyogo (KOBE) venue will be open from 4/15 to 6/25.
Avoid 4/29 to 5/5 as it is a consecutive holiday in Japan ^^;
Located near the scenic port of Kobe, enjoy the city and its gourmet food, where foreign and Japanese cultures coexist.
You can also taste Kobe beef, which Iniesta and Bojan have introduced on SNS.

My personal recommendation is Nankinmachi, about 500 meters west of the venue. Located in a smaller Chinese town than Yokohama, Lao Xiang Ji’s pork buns are very popular.
Ghibli Park and Ghibli Exhibition Yamaguchi Venue: 7/15 – 9/24
The Yamaguchi venue will be open from July 15 to September 24.
Although it is a little far from Yamaguchi City, you should visit the Hagi and Tsuwano areas (an area straddling Yamaguchi and Shimane Prefectures), which are also known as “Little Kyoto.
In the Hagi area, you will also find the ruins of the ironworks that served as the model for the tatara fields in the movie “Princess Mononoke.

The venue is located at Iwate Kenmin Kaikan in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture.
